Welcome to BlocVey. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the BlocVey platform (the "Platform") operated by BlocVey Limited, a company registered in the United Kingdom.

By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and relevant UK data protection laws.

Definitions

"Platform" means the BlocVey web-based service for property transactions.
"User", "you", or "your" refers to any individual or entity using the Platform, including buyers, sellers, and solicitors.
"We", "us", or "our" refers to BlocVey and its legal operator(s).

Eligibility

Age Requirement

Be at least 18 years of age

Legal Capacity

Have full legal capacity to enter into contracts

Verification

Complete our identity verification (KYC/AML) process

Note: We reserve the right to reject or suspend accounts that fail verification or breach our compliance requirements.

Registration and Verification

Email Verification: All users must register with a valid email address and complete email verification.
KYC/AML Verification: Mandatory for all users, including solicitors.
Blockchain Identity: We may use blockchain-based identity solutions for enhanced data integrity and compliance.

Important: You are responsible for keeping your account details confidential and must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

Platform Use

Users may:

  • List or search properties for sale or purchase
  • Invite other parties to collaborate on transactions
  • View real-time transaction progress via dashboard

Users must not:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Use the Platform for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to compromise platform security

Role of Solicitors

Legal Services

  • • Verify client funds
  • • Update the Land Registry

BlocVey is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. All legal services are delivered independently by solicitors registered on or invited to the Platform.

Important: Legal title transfers continue to be processed via traditional means through HM Land Registry and are not executed via blockchain.

Bidding on Properties

Bidding Rules

Bidding is permitted on properties undergoing sale but not yet completed

Time Limit

Bids must be accepted or rejected within 48 hours or they expire automatically

Transparency

All participants can view bid activity and progress via their dashboard

Note: BlocVey is not responsible for disputes between users regarding bids or sales outcomes.

Fees and Payments

  • BlocVey may charge fees for certain services (e.g., listing enhancements, premium access)
  • All fees will be disclosed prior to confirmation
  • Users agree to pay applicable charges and taxes where required

We process your personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, and other applicable laws.
